Job Description

Big Data ETL Developer needed for DoubleVerify, Inc., located in New York City, NY. Will architect business intelligence solution using big data technologies to process billions of records a day and make them available in an analytics platform in New York City, NY. Will develop ETL processes on both home-grown and third-party frameworks, perform data analyses, and work with a team of engineers responsible for external reporting and data delivery systems. Will develop ETL processes that process billions of records a day efficiently. Will analyze data to test the correctness and effectiveness of ETL processes. Will oversee external reporting and data delivery systems. Will deliver data-driven insights to clients, partners, and internal users by implementing robust, scalable data delivery applications and APIs. Will work in a DWH environment including schema design and data modeling. Will utilize knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Pig. Will work with Python. Will write SQL queries and understand data. Will use GoodData. Will work with Vertica or other columnar data stores. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, or Engineering and 5 years of overall progressive experience in data warehousing and business intelligence. This experience must include five years of experience in the following: (1) ETL development; (2) databases, including Teradata, Redshift, Netezza, DB2, and Oracle; (3) reporting tools, including microstrategy; (4) data modeling; (5) production support; and (6) Informatica.
