You will be part of membership enrollment and eligibility organization supporting a critical business function of member management. You will be part of an agile team working closely with architecture team, Product Owner and Scrum Master on all aspects of SDLC and ensuring timely delivery of scalable solution that meets stated business benefit and objective.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Analyze, design, code and implement product features
* Work closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master and rest of the scrum team members in coding Java, Spark based components for Hadoop cluster based environment
* Use Streaming & Big Data technologies to enrich and transform data for real time publishing
* Create prototypes to validate new design patterns, technologies, review prototype results to validate the solutions
* Support the implementation and drive to stable state in production

Required Qualifications:

* 3 years of full time software developer experience, in a Java language
* 2 years of experience in big data technologies - Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Scala, MapR etc
* 2 yrs experience in Agile
* 1 yrs experience with CI/CD with Jenkins for build pipe line
* Exposure to Kubernetes/Docker container

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1 yr experience with Kafka Stream processing and KSQL
* Exposure to microservices
* 2 yrs experience with Casandra/Mongo/Elastic Search
* 1 yrs experience in Openshift or any Kubernetes cloud platform
* 1 yrs experience in Groovy/Gradle
* Exposure to PostGreSQL
