NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Big Data Developer to join our team in Frisco, TX.

Role Responsibilities

* Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
* Build and implement and support the data infrastructure; ingest and transform data (ETL/ELT process)
* Participate in planning session to determine technical designs and estimates
* Develop and deliver solutions using Big Data/Hadoop tools and technologies
* Collaborate effectively with other teams (internal and external) in a very dynamic agile environment
* Partner with the Product Owner on requirements and brainstorm implementation options
* Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting big dataoriented software applications

Basic Qualifications

* 5+ Years of Experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics Hadoop
* 5+ Years of Experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics - ETL
* Working knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases as well as 'big data' pipelines, architecture and data sets
* Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
* Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores
* Experience supporting and working with crossfunctional teams in a dynamic environment
* Experience with the following software/tools: Scala, Spark, Impala, Kudu, etc. Team uses Cloudera as Hadoop provider
