The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for working with the other IT team members and business users to build Qlikview-based analytical solutions, building business dashboards to monitor company performance and produce financial and operational reports. Other activities will include providing support for existing QlikView applications and using a variety of tools to provide ad-hoc reporting support for the business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Research, design and develop reporting solutions * Solicit, obtain and understand requirements from business users and IT analysts * Analyze ad-hoc data requests and provide reports using a variety of tools (Qlikview, Oracle, etc.) * Translate business requirements into viable and scalable system designs * Develop user reports and Qlikview dashboards * Evaluate and enhance existing reports and dashboards and recommend streamlined improvements * Develop and execute test plans to ensure that reports and dashboards are accurate and fully meet the business requirements * Meet key delivery dates and provide status updates as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
* 2+ years' experience developing application software (gathering requirements, designing, developing and deploying applications) * 3+ years' BI experience working with relational data models and developing reports * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Additional Experience Preferred But Not Required
* QlikView document design & development experience with QlikView version 12 (or latest version) or other similar BI tool. * Working with large data sets * Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle), relational databases, and data modeling * Background in financial and forecast reporting * Experience in the telecommunications industry
