Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Developer.

Role Responsibility

* Designing and implementing robust, sustainable business intelligence components that support requirements and provides for expansion.
* Developing dashboards, data models and reports using BIRST.
* Maintaining and evolving BIRST data model.
* Designing, deploying and maintaining Business Objects Universes, WEBI and Crystal Reports.
* Working with vendor support to triage issues.
* Working with tool administrators on report scheduling and subscription setup, security setup, and configuring new software components for general use.
* Provide on-call 24/7 support for relevant systems.

The Ideal Candidate

* Bachelor's degree and seven (7) + years' experience in Information Technology, including minimum four (4) years' experience in hands-on with either BIRST and/or Business Objects system development in the medium to large size global organization.
* 2+ years BIRST development, preferably in a cloud-based solution. Experience must include expert knowledge of database design concepts.
* 4+ years of experience with Business Object Universes, Crystal Reports and WEBI including design and development. Experience must include reporting against Oracle back-end databases, analysis, testing, performance tuning and deployment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of multiple database platforms such as Oracle, Netezza, Teradata, DB2, and/or SQL Server.
* Strong knowledge of SQL, database design and modeling.
* Ability to interact well with user base, development teams and other technical teams.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve issues/problems in aggressive timeframes.
* Strong work ethic and ability to handle high-pressure situations with guided direction.
* Team player, with proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively.
