In this role you will:

Engage with back-office business analysts across the three Communities of Experience (COE's) in the Navy Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education community to understand their Business Intelligence / Data Analytics (BI/DA) needs and train, mentor, and facilitate the development of new interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and BI products using the tools and capabilities of Authoritative Data Environment (ADE). The COEs are Force Development, Force Management, and Enterprise Services.

Work with the tools and capabilities include the following technologies which are deployed within the AWS GovCloud environment:

* Tableau Creator (formerly Desktop)
* Tableau Server
* Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
* Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog
* Informatica Axon
* AWS Oracle RDS

Facilitate and enable designated BI/DA administrators in each COE to perform business intelligence system administration and auditing functions.

Develop and maintain a directory/repository of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to raise awareness and answer end users' questions as they consume and use the developed dashboards and other BI/DA products.

Provide BI/DA Help Desk Services in support of the MPT&E ADE BI/DA user community.

Required Qualifications

Must have expertise using Tableau software in a shared data environment to develop and deploy high quality enterprise data visualizations and dashboards and to enable effective analytics governance (i.e., analytics life cycle processes, data security, access control, permissions strategy planning and implementation, and audit/reporting of consumers' use of the analytics products) using Tableau Server capabilities.

Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, be experienced in briefing and collaborating with all levels of personnel (from enlisted personnel to high ranking officers), and possess training and mentoring expertise applied to the development and deployment of self-service analytics capabilities such as with Tableau Creator and Tableau Server.

Must have experience organizing and deploying user support and help desk services for enterprise analytics solutions.

Must possess possess Tableau-specific experience and expertise (i.e., experience deploying Tableau Server into an enterprise and training/mentoring government personnel to use the capabilities of Tableau to develop effective enterprise dashboards, visualizations, etc.)

Must have knowledge and experience with the Navy MPT&E functional mission and data knowledge of one or more of the MPT&E COE domains.

Must have active D0D SECRET (or better) secureity clearnce.

Must have DoD 8570 IA & CE certifications.

Desired Qualifications

It is desirable to have expertise using the Informatica products.
