Based in Buena Park, CA, Studio 60 functions as an in-house creative agency for Yamaha musical instruments and audio/visual products.

As B2C Magento Developer you are an integral member of the Yamaha Studio 60 team and part of an organization with a deep and historic commitment to all things musical. This position will play a critical role in building our next generation eCommerce and web technologies stack. Day to day work will vary between developing new features for existing applications, integrations between internal or 3rd party applications, as well as maintenance and bug fixing. When working on a long-term project you will architect and create the required technical specifications. Some projects may require you to implement the code yourself while others may require that you work with other developers to architect a solution. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of applications as well as focus deeply on large projects.

Here's What You Will Do:

* Develop new features for existing applications, integrations between internal or 3rd party applications
* Maintenance and bug fixing
* Architect and create the required technical specifications on long-term projects
* Produce code; programming
* Peer review other developer's code
* Architect with performance, maintainability, and security in mind
* Collaborate with the team; provide feedback while understanding the corporate, team, and project goals

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:

* BS/MS with 5+ years of experience developing web applications on LAMP stack.
* Extensive experience with the Magento 1.x eCommerce platform
* Strong experience PHP, LAMP, Javascript, CSS, SQL
* Experience with "DevOps" tools like Chef, Puppet, Docker, and Vagrant is preferred.
* Experience with a version control system like git
* Strong documentation skills
* Strong communication skills; You will need to communicate effectively with a variety of team members, both technical and non-technical
* Ability to collaborate effectively
