Job Description

Academic Partnerships is hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our IT team in in downtown Dallas. You will provide guidance and engineering solutions on the development of cloud resources to DevOps, Engineering, and Corporate Services; and own continued support for maintenance and support of all cloud instances, including Azure, O365, and private cloud resources. Our ideal candidate will also have a broad knowledge of Information Technology at large, with an understanding of related disciplines and how they inter operate.

Required Skills & Abilities Include:

* Advanced PowerShell Scripting and PowerShell Automation
* Ability to create in house tools/solutions for cross functioning departments
* Engineering support for tool development or integration Azure AD vs AD knowledge & 365 PowerShell Administration
* Azure Resource Management and Development with Web Apps, Web APIs, SQL Server, SQL DB, Function Apps, VMs, VNet, Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Ops Management Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required and/ or its equivalent required.
* Minimum 3 years' related experience.
* Experience with Cloud Operations support and strategies
* Experience with cloud focused scripting and automation for deployment and operational tasks
* Knowledge of OS internals (file systems, storage, process lifecycle, etc.).
* Demonstrated experience with Virtualization products and technologies.
* Demonstrated scripting skills (e.g. submitting/modifying code to improve system tests, monitoring/alerting tools, and automated workflows.
