Job Description

As a Partner Development Solution Architect focused on Consulting partners within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS' services across the partner community. Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement with strategic partners, assist with the creation of new technical strategies, define the architecture of new consulting partner offerings, and define the strategy for enabling and educating partners to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency on AWS engagements, .

As the right candidate, you will possess deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing, as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization. You should be comfortable speaking with everyone from the CEO down to the most junior developer about AWS technology and the value it brings. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical rewards and challenges.

30% domestic travel is required.

This position can be remote, but candidates must be based near an AWS office location preferably on the East or West coast (Atlanta, Austin, Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Cupertino, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Irvine, Herndon, New York City, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, or Tempe).
