The AWS SDKs and Tools team at Amazon.com is looking for a passionate and innovative Developer Support Manager to build a new team focusing on helping AWS customers resolve development questions over GitHub and StackOverflow.
In this position, you'll be at the heart of AWS, frequently collaborating with AWS service and platform teams as well as internal customers from all over Amazon. You'll have the opportunity to engage with external customers online as the voice of AWS in the developer community. You will build a world class team of support engineers, and define processes and tooling to ensure we delight customers. You will own the developer support team's business metrics, and create plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
To succeed in this role, you should be incredibly customer focused, have a strong command of one or more programming languages and an expert knowledge of the open source developer community. You must enjoy collaborating with teams across the company and take pleasure from delighting customers. Responsibilities include direct management of support engineers, strategic planning, process definition, customer communication, and escalation management. Additionally, as this is a new organization is growing, hiring top-notch engineers will be a key focus.
