Job Description

Addx is seeking a highly qualified AWS Cloud Engineer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience in EA, SysOps, and DevOps to support the design, development, and implementation of Federal client solution needs. In addition to migrating existing infrastructure to the cloud or leading the design of new applications, the Cloud Engineer / SME will be involved in helping this AWS Select Consulting Partner grow its rapidly expanding practice, mentor and develop aspiring personnel to gain requisite certifications, and lead multiple teams in delighting customers by delivering flawlessly executed projects.

Potential applicants must be able to rationalize functional business requirements with technical solutions, and through this lens be superb at defining, architecting, documenting, communicating, and implementing cloud solutions, as well as meeting directly with clients to discuss such solutions for Federal government IT projects.

The successful candidate must have outstanding oral and written communication skills, capable of addressing high level business requirements, detailed technical requirements, and comfortable crafting creative and compelling content for a wide range of audiences including executives, project managers, engineers, and users.

This position requires a Professional AWS Solutions Architect certification and an Associates DevOps Engineering Specialty accreditation. BS/BA is preferred in Information Technology or Engineering or related field. Must be a US Citizen and be eligible for a DoD clearance. Pluses include experience / familiarity with ML, AI, and RPA.
