Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Overview: BIA aims to provide independent, reliable, valued, insightful and timely assurance to the Board and executive management over the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control over current and evolving risks, in the context of the current and expected

What will you be doing?

Work collaboratively with others across BIA, while developing strong client relationships which are independent and be seen as a respected voice. Support delivery of BIA Audit Plan.

* Support the Audit Owner in scoping the audit where necessary.
* Identify, assess & document risks and controls.
* Complete testing.
* Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls & document this understanding in the BIA audit toolkit.
* Update the Audit Owner and audit team with progress and observations.
* Write high quality audit observations and support the Audit Owner in writing the report.

What we're looking for:

* Bachelor's degree
* 5 years' experience in risk based auditing or risk/control activities within one or more of the following areas: Cyber Security and Technology .
* 3 years' technical experience (operational or within an audit /control function) covering one or more of the following areas: threat intelligence, security assessments and penetration testing, logical access management, data leakage prevention, incident management and response.
* 3 years' technical experience (operational or within an audit /control function) covering one or more of the following areas: management of OS, database, middleware, networks and other corporate technology platforms, including those delivered on a cloud.

Skills that will help you in the role:

* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CISA, CEH, CISSP, CRISC or other relevant technical qualification; and graduate degree).
* Financial services industry business process knowledge.
* Practical understanding of relevant regulatory environment and working with regulators (e.g. FRBNY, FDIC, SEC, NY DFS, PRA, FCA, etc.).
* Knowledge about new and emerging technology and IT services including cloud (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Office 365, Big Data', etc.)
* Proven track record of high performance in previous roles. Content to be in priority order
