Overview

KeyW Corp. is looking for a Automation Test Engineer with a Top Secret clearance located in Vienna, VA.

Responsibilities

The Agile Scrum Test Engineer will:

* Collaborate with management and IT counterparts to define, refine, and maintain IT testing strategies, ensuring strategies are aligned to the goals of the Agile-Scrum development environment.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual testing methods to confirm operational software is defect-free and design objectives are met.
* Test and optimize the functionality of systems, networks, and data.
* Plan and carry out difficult and complex assignments and develop new methods, approaches, and procedures.
* Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
* Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts.
* Write, implement, and report status for system test cases. Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports and serve as subject matter specialist, and provide testing knowledge for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
* Participate as an effective Scrum team member focusing on quality of product and supporting multiple custom enterprise applications delivered by multiple application development teams.
* Attend daily Scrum meetings to discuss daily sprint activities and objectives.
* Analyze requirements and design test plans to prioritize test activities for each iteration.
* Provide assistance to the development team for scheduling and maintaining of the resources needed to perform automated testing.
* Analyze and document test results and recommend user story adjustments.
* Present test results during the ready to deploy review.
* Perform validation after deployment dry run.
* Perform new functionality and regression testing throughout the sprint cycle, including load testing.
* Possess the ability to perform the daily tasks of a Scrum Master, supporting team's daily activities by providing liaison between external technical groups as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* Proficiency in the Agile Scrum methodology.
* Knowledge of IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices.
* Knowledge of performance management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques.
* Knowledge of systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, and tools.
* Knowledge of requirement analysis principles and methods.
* Knowledge of new and emerging information technologies and/or industry trends.
* Knowledge of project management principles and methods.
* Experience with 2-3 of the following tools: Protractor, Selenium, TFS, JMeter, Xquery, SQL, Jenkins

Education and Years of Experience:

* Master's degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance, or
* Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance, or
* Eight years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires a Top Secret security clearance.

This position requires a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI). Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
