Job Description

Under the general direction of the Digital Business Solutions, Automation and Orchestration Manager, responsible for automating robotic/repetitive processes; assist in identifying automated fault remediation (AFR/self-healing) for targeted area of operations; assisting in design and development of fault remediation automation and orchestration; and, participating in the periodic review of automated processes to ensure effectiveness and completeness of designed solutions.

* Work with internal and external teams to identify repetitive process automation (RPA) candidates
* Work with internal and external teams to identify automated fault remediation (AFR) candidates
* Coordinate design, implementation, and operation of the identified RPA and AFR projects
* Work closely with teammates to discuss progress of work, resolve issues and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met.
* Consult regularly with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues impacting projects
* Evaluates new software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing applications; makes necessary recommendations.
* Ensures that all related documentation is current and accurate, and ensures personal compliance to appropriate standards and established guidelines.
* Performs related duties as assigned.

Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
* 2 years of professional experience in software development
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply application knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
* Knowledge of networking methodologies and devices
* Proficiency in at least one of the modern programming languages such as Java or Python
* Proficiency in computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design.
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
* Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines
