We are looking for an Automation engineer who is responsible for the development and maintenance of creating scripts for both iOS and Android apps. Your primary focus will be converting the complete test suite to Automation and reduce resource utilization for all major and minor releases. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Job Requirements PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and build Automation scripts for the iOS and Android apps.
* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
* Collaborate with a team to define, design, and automate new features.
* Identify bugs before product launch and achieve "0" UAT bugs.
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
* Participate in discussions with other Kenmore Software and Hardware Engineers and voice opinions about matter related to application and software design

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in QA testing
* Minimum of 3 years' experience testing Native apps (IoT platform testing experience is highly desired)
* Proficient with Java or VB script
* Experience with Webdriver, Appium and Instruments
* Experience with Test frameworks, Junit or TestNG
* Experience with Continuous Integration - Jenkins or Hudson
* Experience with version control tools; Git, Github or Gitlab
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect native applications to back-end services
* Experience with defect management tools such as; JIRA, ALM, etc.
* Experience in RPA and AI automation is a plus
* Experience working with Agile methodologies
* Superior time management skills
