Your role in helping us shape the future:

The Associate Software Engineer - Oracle Applications serves as a member of the Application Development team to perform hands-on development and maintenance of Intelsat's implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite.

Are you up to the challenge?

* Work as a part of the team responsible for providing day to day production support of the Oracle Financials and HRMS modules, workflows, interfaces and reports.
* Participate in all aspects of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) from assessing requirements, to developing PL/SQL procedures, workflows and supporting UAT.
* Work with end users to clarify requirements and communicate delivery timelines.
* Collaborate with DBA group and other IT teams, work on the data integrations projects.
* Ensure all developed programs adhere to Intelsat's design standards.
* Participate in team meetings and discussions with users to ensure functional and business understanding of required development efforts.
* Create high-quality written deliverables for sign-off by business users and team members, such as design documents, release notes and general maintenance procedures.

Can you drive these processes?

* Build and support conversions, extensions, interfaces and reports in Oracle EBS R12 application modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, HRMS, PO, OTL, OSC) based on functional and business needs.
* Deploy customizations and perform application configuration as needed.

You should definitely have:

* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
* Less than one (1) year work experience.
* Full understanding of the RDBMS concept and knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.
* Desire to learn and work on the Oracle Applications.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical persons.
* Ability to analyze problems and communicate and propose resolutions to issues.
* Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated discipline, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to details.

It would be nice if you had:

* Knowledge of Oracle configurations / setups for EBS R12, table structures and schemas.
* Understanding of accounting concepts.
* Experience with Oracle Application Framework.
* Experience with SQL, PL/SQL.
