The NTD build tools group gathers our internal software developers' requirements, then implement the needed build jobs and test jobs in our continuous integration system. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, cares deeply about providing excellent customer service, has a passion for learning, and has strong coding skills.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

* Gather requirements from internal software developers to learn what build jobs or test jobs are needed
* Design, develop, debug and test software based upon requirements for continuous integration system
* Create concise, easy to read documents to facilitate efficient software development
* Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems for development and server applications
* Participates in the testing process through test strategy and test plan review, use-case testing, review and analysis
* Up to 10% travel, domestic and international

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

* One to three years of experience
* Knowledge and understanding of software product development, related tools and testing paradigms
* Programming skills in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, C , C#, Java or C)
* Knowledge of continuous integration software (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins)
* Strong understanding of source control (e.g., Git) and branching strategies
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Technical writing skills
* Strong problem solving and debugging skills
* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
* Valid passport required
