About the Job

The Associate Product Manager, Fulfillment Systems has a demonstrated passion for creating efficient & highly functional systems to support Jet's fulfillment operations. The role will collaborate closely with both fulfillment leadership in the field and software engineers at our corporate offices. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to be successful in aligning priorities amongst cross-functional teams. Additionally, this role needs a critical-thinker who understands how software design impacts business operations both strategically and operationally.

Other key responsibilities include:

* Gather business requirements, design and define features, write specs and user stories, and prioritize fulfillment system features & enhancements
* Cogently build systems supporting Jet fulfillment operations that can rapidly scale and remain flexible in process design
* Collaborate with a team of developers to continually roll out system improvements based upon business requirements
* Develop key metrics & reporting from large, complex data sets to provide visibility into business & operations
* Analyze & model data to drive systematic, operational & financial decisions for fulfillment operations
* Dig into data to identify outliers & reduce variation in fulfillment processes

About You

* Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or other quantitative fields
* 1-3 years of relevant professional experience with 1-2 years in a hands-on product management or software development role - E-commerce, supply chain or fulfillment operations experience is a BIG plus
* Unrelenting problem solver: capable of creating structure around ambiguous problems and provide simple, insightful solutions
* Able to effectively manage competing priorities with minimal direction; comfortable with ambiguity
* Go-getter: consistently work through barriers and drive projects through an end-to-end implementation cycle
* Analytically creative: able to see & manipulate data to derive trends & insights
* Intellectually curious: hungry to learn, dig deep & drive projects from ideation to implementation
* Excellent communicator: clearly define business requirements, effectively manage stakeholder expectations on product design and delivery
* Proficiency in SQL, excel and BI tools is a plus
