Responsibilities
The successful candidtae will be a key contributor to CIT's Independent Model Validation (IMV) team. The three primary functions of IMV are: Model Governance and Model Risk Management, Validation of Models, and Ongoing Monitoring of Models.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain, update and enhance IMV database (ACCESS), and generate monthly and quarterly model governance reports through programming• Maintain, update and enhance IMV SharePoint site• Perform model governance activities including model inventory update, validation issue management, and reporting• Automate and enhance routine processes through programming• Automate and enhance model monitoring reporting, such as data entry and report generation.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline with strong course work in programing languages including Python, Java, SQL, and VBA; proficiency in Python programming a must.• Relevant work experience and programming using Python, SQL and VBA strongly preferred.• Experience with JavaScript is a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is highly desired• Proficient with Microsoft Office • Intellectual curiosity; superior problem-solving abilities and attention to detail; and prompt follow-through
