Job Description

Nice-Pak Products, Inc. (NP) is the global developer, manufacturer and marketer of pre-moistened wipes for the consumer market, specializing in personal care, hygiene, household cleaning and disinfection products.

We currently looking for an Associate Director of Supply Chain Systems Solution and Analytics.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Associate Director is responsible for participating in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the functional areas of our Supply Chain suite of Applications including our Warehouse Management System, Transportation Management System, our ERP system, and various API and EDI integration solutions. The Associate Director will establish business objectives and design business processes in such a way that they may be effectively modeled, configured and measured within the application environment. The Associate Director will take the created model, develop a solution, test the solution, train on the solution and work with business stakeholders and IT members to implement the solution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

* Translate Business Requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the capabilities within the warehouse management technology platforms.
* Provide technical leadership for our organization in the operational systems application area
* Work alongside members of the systems management team in performing testing for current and new technology to ensure the applications utilized are configured as optimally as possible to meet business production needs, and complete unit testing for all configurations.
* Work to ensure all aspects of the technology plan is accounted for, understood, defined, and executed successfully.
* Preparation, coordination, and execution of appropriate unit (functional), integration and volume tests to ensure successful implementation.
* Help ensure delivery of quality projects by being involved in the solution design process.
* Work with third-party software and hardware providers to ensure solutions meet the needs of the organization.
* Analyze, investigate, and solve technical problems associated with warehouse management system technologies.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a frequent basis to assist and drive a Supply Chain Systems/Solutions and Analytics toward best in class execution.

SUPPORT:

* Assist in the formulation of and definition of application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve business problems.
* Communication of application package capabilities/possibilities.
* Develop business relationships with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support efforts.
* Monitor and report on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
* Foster and maintain good relationships with internal customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
* Assist to identify issues, identify potential solutions, document said solutions, develop/configure solution, test solution, train solution, initially support solution, and handoff support to end user services.
* Point of contact to internal users for assigned projects

DATA AND ANALYTICS:

* Work with end users to understand the problem and build robust analytical solutions.
* Review historical trends, research drivers, and work to develop predictive statistical models.
* Proactively analyze and research opportunities for improvement, and clearly document action steps for desired change.
* Teach end users how to leverage data and analytics to be more productive, as well as drive consistency and standardization across the enterprise.
* Drive requirements related to data integrity and data standardization to meet business demand needs.
* Where appropriate, help with the data cleansing process that feeds various applications used by the end users.
* Support the BI documentation and Meta data management processes.
* Facilitate and lead brainstorming sessions for technology, algorithms, and products working with data architects to ensure end user informational needs are being met.
* Applies data analysis, data modelling, and quality techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of business processes, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and associated components. Laisses with database engineers and other application development team members on the details of data structures and associated components.

REPORTING AND PROCESSES:

* Maintains application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.
* Applies tools, techniques and processes to track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes related to the configuration items.
* Undertakes the identification, registration and categorization of incidents. Gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly escalates incidents as appropriate. Maintains records and advises relevant persons of actions taken.
* Reviews the communications needs of each stakeholder group in conjunction with business owners and subject matter experts. Translates communications / stakeholder engagement strategies into specific tasks. Contributes to the development and enhancement of customer and stakeholder relationships.
* Assesses, analyzes, creates, documents, presents and implements changes based on requests for change.

Requirements EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

* Minimum of 3 years' related experience in warehouse technology.
