Position Overview

DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President, Operation Services Specialist, in Piscataway, NJ to support a global UNIX estate and perform advanced system tunings to application specific requirements as well as managing system standardizations and automations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience operating and maintaining UNIX (Solaris and AIX) and Linux (SuSe, RedHat and OEL) environments. Must include at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting TCP/IP networking, advanced systems tuning, network topology, and firewalled environments; performing Linux operating system patches and rollback procedures including snapshot and rear backup; maintaining SRDF/BCV (R1/R2) storage and conducting tasks including storage split, establish, and personality swap; configuring disaster recovery nodes and implementing site failover/power-down tasks; performing shell scripting and building tools and automation utilities to enhance productivity; supporting storage uplifts involving creation of disk groups, volumes, volume groups and file systems using VERITAS Volume Manager; restoring and backing up data using the IBM TSM tool in an enterprise environment; building and maintaining High Availability environments utilizing VERITAS Cluster Solution; and utilizing routing, client/server programming, network-wide file system layout, Ethernet, bonding, and PCIe Technologies. #DNI
