Description
Archivist will assist the program team with managing required records within the customer archive database to be compliant with National Archive and Records Administration (NARA) and customer requirements.
* In addition will conduct annual reviews of all records maintained identifying records requiring review for declassification.
* Work on Technology Transfer Requests, brief new users into the archive program.
* Maintain, operate, and execute the customer Archive Program ensuring it is compliant with DoDI 5205.11, Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and DoD 5200.01 historical recording keeping, declassification, and file series exemptions.
* Communicate across the Agency technology office security staffs to ensure SAP program closeout data/information is properly configured, delivered, and subsequently uploaded to the Archive system.
* Communicate effectively with the archive database provider and assist in identifying system upgrades, capabilities, and technology refreshes.
* Collaborate with the Mandatory Declassification and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) personnel in response to requests for the declassification or public release of previously classified information
Qualifications
* Associates degree with 5 years relevant experience. 8 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
* Current TS with SCI eligibility, willing to consent to counter-intelligence polygraph.
* Experience in a library related records management or record retention.
* Experience in information, industrial, special access programs, and archival system ingress and categorization.
* Must have the ability to work in an extremely fast paced, dynamic environment, effectively interacting with numerous internal and external government and industry partners.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
* Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks.
