Job Description

The Alexa Discovery Science team is looking for a passionate machine learning scientist to help build and test customer-facing, ML-powered systems that both delight and help our customers discover new ways to interact with Alexa. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse machine learning problems involving natural language processing, recommender systems, semi-supervised and transfer learning. In addition to prototyping and training new models, you will help build robust systems for performing large-scale inference.

Our ideal candidate has strong communication and collaboration skills, has experience working with product managers and engineers and is excited about the prospect of working on ambiguous, challenging business problems. Experience working with large data volumes and distributed compute systems is also a plus.
