We are seeking an Applications Infrastructure Administrator to assist with our diverse portfolio of security and facilities software applications, including databases, web services, and middleware running on Windows and Linux platforms. In this role, you will work with a team of knowledgeable database and applications engineers to provide a robust and capable infrastructure to address application requirements.

As an Applications Infrastructure Administrator...

* You will manage enterprise infrastructure for numerous facilities and security-oriented applications including responding to requests, deploying changes, installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading software, troubleshooting and root-cause problem analysis, in addition to monitoring and securing the systems.
* You will collaborate with software developers, analysts, and managers to understand infrastructure requirements for projects and operations, and make sound recommendations. Provide regular status updates and communications to teams and line management.
* You will develop and maintain documentation related to installation, maintenance, procedures and technical solutions.

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

* Hold a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent years of related professional work experience;
* Have at least one year of experience managing and upgrading enterprise-class information systems on Windows or UNIX/Linux platforms, and Oracle Database administration experience including backup, recovery and patching
* Demonstrate capabilities with scripting using either shell scripts, Ansible, Python or Powershell.
* Demonstrate ability to investigate and resolve moderately complex problems using current job knowledge, research data and external resources.
* Possess strong analysis skills
* Able to work effectively with leadership to prioritize contending tasks.
* Demonstrate solid communication and listening skills within a collaborative team environment
* Ambitious to learn, effectively plan and organize work, seek and share knowledge on a continuous basis
* Are able to obtain Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and are required to meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have experience with …

* Administering Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat, or IBM WebSphere environment.
* Oracle PL/SQL and query performance tuning.
