Job Description

THE POSITION

The Brattle Group is seeking a talented full-time Applications and Database Developer in our Boston, MA Office who is passionate about delivering cutting-edge, world-class solutions to solve business problems through development of high quality code. We are looking for someone with the following skillset who is also eager to learn.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

Develop, implement and support critical applications, databases and reports in a MS-SQL environment, using Microsoft SQL tools; T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and Power BI;
Develop reports with T- SQL, SSRS and Power BI;
Develop applications using C# ASP.NET MVC;
Develop and optimize ETL processes using SQL, SSIS and Microsoft SSDT tools;
Administer and support critical MS-SQL databases in order to maintain high levels of availability;
Administration of SharePoint 2016 intranet;
Support existing 3rd party and custom applications and assist the user community;
Assist with the change control processes by following standardized procedures for code implementation;
Be part of an on-call rotation as needed.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field;
Three (3) years of SQL server and T-SQL development, preferably Microsoft SQL 2012 or higher;
Proven experience developing using C#, ASP.NET MVC;
Three (3) years of T-SQL query writing, SSRS and Power BI experience in a business environment;
Experience building ETL processes using SQL Server SSIS and ETL tools;
Experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2016 administration preferred;
Three (3) years of experience supporting critical production applications and databases preferred;
Strong customer service skills with effective time management and strict attention to detail;
Proactive self-starter willing to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team with the ability to handle multiple shifting tasks while staying organized in a fast paced environment;
