Job Description

The Application Systems Developer will be based in either Cincinnati, OH, or Dallas, TX, and will assist in the transition from Microsoft Access Databases to other platforms (i.e. SQL).

The role will also be responsible for looking at manual processes and coming up with solutions to automate and streamline the process.

Individual will participate in the design configuration, problem diagnosis, maintenance, and automation of manual processes.

They will work with business lines to scope out the process and work with team members to come up with a solution to eliminate a majority of the manual intervention.

The role will be responsible for testing and validating system functionality after design and after changes.

They will work with the business line to ensure it meets their needs.

After deployment, they will continue to analyze, monitor, and fine-tune the application system to achieve optimum performance levels.

Participates with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot any issues after deployment.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* Three or more years of experience in application development

Preferred Skills/Experience

* Working knowledge of .Net development
* Working knowledge of SSIS/SSRS
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Advanced skill level in writing queries within a SQL Server environment
* Advanced skill level in process automation
* Strong understanding of Relational Databases
* Well-developed problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers, customers and management
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* High degree of adaptability in an environment with continually shifting priorities
