The Technical Applications Manager (TAM) is responsible for managing and directing the activities of their team to meet business goals and objectives. They develop and maintain a strong technical team through recruiting, coaching, educating, training and managing performance. They drive revenue recognition through forecasting, backlog management, shipping and implementing capital equipment. They optimize and impact the customer experience over the life cycle of the equipment by partnering with them throughout the process. They ensure their team complies with all business and regulatory guidelines through documentation management and review.

The Technical Applications Manager (TAM) develops and maintains a high performing team to comply with Siemens policies and meet organizational and business goals through recruiting, educating, training, coaching, mentoring and effective and timely performance management. In support of revenue goal attainment and customer satisfaction, the TAM manages all aspects of the implementation process and collaborates with the Sales and Service organizations as needed to drive accurate forecasting, timely shipment, efficient implementation, timely go-lives and reduced backlogs. The TAM also manages expenses and negotiates the pricing, quoting and delivery of application related services, and may serve as project coordinator for multi-site, non-automation installations, as well as manage special projects as needed.

BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science certification preferred. Five to ten years of successful experience in a directly related field with increasing levels of responsibility, along with demonstrated knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to the activities of the team members managed, as well as basic knowledge of other areas of the company and how they interact. Must successfully demonstrate and apply effective leadership, communication, interpersonal, decision making, conflict resolution, time management, computer and customer service skills. Management experience preferred.
