As an AMS Workday Senior Consultant, a typical day to include the following:

* Works on issues of complex and time consuming scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
* Able to adapt broader policies & programs to meet the organizations business needs. Utilizes domain subject matter experience to solve problems and influence design options.
* Possesses advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
* Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations.
* Uses knowledge to provide consultative advice and recommendations within specific functional areas
* Requires the ability to work independently with general instruction and the ability to prioritize and organize work.
* Requires the ability to lead a small team - 2 to 3 members
* Provides guidance and training to junior team members.
* Responsible for collecting requirements from the client
* Partner with other architects, review community and other sources to provide cost effective solution to complex business issues based on the requirements
* Document the design and the solution, estimate the amount of work to implement the solution and work the account manager to get the SOW signed off.
* Based on the complexity, involve other members of the team to deliver the solution
* Based on complexity and timelines - design, develop and test the solution
* Understands each integration type and the situations where each type may be appropriate. Provides insight on most effective way to solve a business need.
* Be part of the SWAT team for any client that are struggling with go-live issues or any complex issues
* Partner closely with Leaders/Managers to implement process that would benefit the AMS Integrations Practice.
* Continues to complete the release certification as and when made available by Workday within the stipulated time
* Attend, present papers on Workday Altitude, Workday Rising etc.
* As and when needed, partner closely with Sales Team in answering questions for potential clients, develop/review SOW etc.,
* Active coach to more junior colleagues. Be a role model for the junior developers, groom them to be experts in one or more modules;
* When there is capacity, make sure the portfolio managers are made aware so that they can leverage them for other assignments
* Keep the forecasting tool updated with the planned work for the next 6 to 8 weeks.
* Ensures the time card is submitted on time with right project codes
* Monitor their utilization to achieve the goal
* Be the "go-to" person for the AMS practice when colleagues hit a road block
* For the tickets assigned to him/her or their team - ensure the status are updated periodically in the tool - with details that clearly articulates on when things can be expected from them if that is waiting on them
* Attend internal/client/vendor calls to work on the project/task.
* Attention to details and support the policy of "Plan your work and work your plan"
* Performs research into problems, identifying opportunities to correct the situation and seeks opinions and feedback on suggested solutions.
* Contributes to knowledge management capital through activities such as sharing documented lessons learned, Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitation of knowledge sharing and training workshops, and as well as contributions to the organization's sharepoint site.
* Develops knowledge on other Alight Technologies - Upoint, TBA, YSA etc., and see how we can enhance the integrations with Workday
* Seeks opportunities to learn and take on additional tasks.

Education:

* Bachelors or equivalent experience
