The Role

The Application Implementation Manager will manage Implementation Specialists along with managing the implementation, planning, execution, control and closing of installation/implementation projects.

What you'll do

* The Project Manager will follow the standards, methodologies, policies, and processes established through the organization's Project Management methodology.
* Coordinates and monitors field support projects from initiation through delivery.
* Serves as liaison between the company and customer in order to ensure all implementation requirements and targets are met.
* Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
* Ensures technical projects are completed on schedule.
* Creates, updates and maintains all implementation calendars.
* Monitors and tracks all escalated issues to resolution.
* Assists in the implementation of project management tools and methodologies.
* Assists in the creation of standard templates for project management deliverables.
* Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for assigned projects.
* The PM role requires an individual who has depth within several of the following disciplines; business process modeling, project management methodologies, implementation of products, information management, vendor performance, and technical operations.
* This position will require interaction with Senior Management and the ability to effectively communicate performance metrics, risks, and issues at that level.

What you'll bring:

* Bachelor's required.
* PMP Certification preferred.
* Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in either of the following categories: conducting software implementations and or managing software implementation projects.
* Experience in consultative or professional services environments a must
* Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience preferred.
* General knowledge of IT: Internet, Infrastructure, and Networks. WebEx or GoToMeeting experience a plus.
* SQL queries knowledge a plus.
* Experience monitoring issues and risks as well as related mitigation efforts associated with projects.
* Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills a must
