iCIMS is looking to add an Application Engineer to our Cloud Services team. As an Application Engineer, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and providing support with enterprise software solutions for our growing employee base. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting technical research, testing, and evaluating tools and methodologies to ensure compliance, best practices, and efficiency. Responsibilities:

* Assist in development, deployment and maintenance of enterprise software applications.
* Interact with business to understand application requirements to design and develop application modifications or new application functionality.
* Proactively look for making improvements in respective application modules
* Turn design requirements and prototypes into working applications
* Document and create test cases
* Engineer unit test code and provide end-to- end testing of new features and enhancements. Resolve escalations received through ticketing system, emails, and/or phone calls in a timely manner.
* Perform testing and validation of applications/software systems to ensure that applications work properly.
* Participate in code reviews
* Document complex procedures and processes
* Oversee installation of software systems as well as monitoring of equipment.
* Communicate with systems analysts, engineers and programmers to get information on project limitations, performance requirements and interfaces.
* After an application has been released, they help customers with maintenance issues.
* Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies
* Receive and take action on feedback and lessons learned for continual professional improvement and development.
* Take measures to enhance body of knowledge and skill set through training
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Understanding of and experience with object-oriented programming and relational databases.
* Experience in developing Enterprise level integrations with SaaS based applications such as SalesForce, NetSuite, Ultimate, Concur, Adaptive, and Cornerstone.
* Required experience with Java/.NET/SQL/C#.
* Experience with XML, JSON and other open-source Web 2.0 technologies a plus.
* Experience with implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) using technologies like Mulesoft and TIBCO
* Experience in the customization and configuration of complex development with Salesforce.com, including: Triggers, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Lightning Components, REST/SOAP API connections etc.
* Experience with business process modelling
* Experience in Agile environment highly preferred
* Experience using Git as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
* Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment that is going through high growth
* A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative
* Demonstrated customer service orientation
* Strong results orientation and sense of urgency
* Active learner, passionate about improving skills
