The Opportunity

Our IT Department is looking for a highly talented Application Developer to partake in the design, architecture, and development of customer facing software solutions to meet business needs. In this role you will be technically involved in all aspects of assigned projects, including planning and resolving issues. The ideal candidate would have strong understanding of web-based technologies, user experience practices, search engine optimization, responsive & mobile development, web design, and site/infrastructure management in a large-scale enterprise environment. Responsibilities will include providing coding, testing, and client support for new and existing applications used by the Credit Union members and staff.

Responsibilities

* Participation in all phases of project life cycle: analysis, design, implementation, test, debug, and deploy web based and desktop applications.
* Create and maintain functional specification and other technical documents.
* Work closely with business and management to capture requirements and translate them into user journeys and wireframes/mockups
* Provide guidance on the future direction of Digital technology usage
* Experience building complex web-based applications with a passion for the latest technologies
* Available to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in a 24/7 environment
* Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree (CS or MIS Preferred), or equivalent experience
* 5 - 8 years of software development experience with enterprise multi-tier applications.
* Demonstrated proficiency with C#/.NET Application Framework, REST/SOAP services
* C# , Helix framework guideline, ASP.NET,JavaScript,Node.JS, Gulp scripting PowerShell scripting,CSS3 - SaSS ,HTML5,Github, Jenkins, Sitecore Unicorn
* Experienced with Bootstrap, Sketch, Invision, Javascript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS
* Experience with analyzing and tuning code/application performance under High volume/High availability environments.
* Experience with Agile (SCRUM) methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) process
* Experience with CI/CD practices
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent trouble-shooting, debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Microsoft certification a plus (MCPD/MCAD/MCSD/ any other), preferred.

* Good sense for design, user experience and attention to detail.
* An expert in building digital solutions and comfortable with all layers of the application stack.
* Analyze the performance of current SEO strategies
* Strong understanding of online customer acquisition.
* In-depth knowledge of bid management tools and website analytics tools.
* Work in an agile manner to deliver software solutions.
* Self-motivated and engaged in the entire product cycle starting from inception to support and maintenance.
* Always practicing self-development to remain updated with the latest and greatest in the market.
* Open to learning and facilitating the implementation and adoption of new frameworks, tools and technologies.
* Experience with automation.
* Results oriented with an ability to work in team and individual contributor work environments.
* Strong organization and interpersonal skills and a customer focused attitude.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize workload
