Position Title: Application Architect

Location: 4602 DTC Boulevard, Ste 200, Denver, CO 80237

Days/Hours: Mon - Fri / 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

* Designing and developing Business Applications using Enterprise Java Architecture Frameworks.
* Design and document business components based on established architectural patterns for developed Java/JEE components, frameworks, and libraries.
* Design and implementation strategy of team deliverables.
* Produce high output, high efficiency delivery of work items from inception through acceptance.
* Understand and disseminate product architecture and domain for team enabling efficient, quality code delivery.
* Understand and disseminate development standards and patterns to team developers.
* Design reviews, Code reviews.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related and 6 years of experience in the job offered or Business Analyst or closely related occupation. Applicant must have the following experience:

* (6 years) Developing object-oriented applications in a Java environment.
* (4 years) JBoss Application Server, and IBM WebSphere Application Server.
* (4 years) SQL and RDBMS products like Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server
* (3 years) Both commercial and open source components such as Spring, JPA, Hibernate, SOA, enterprise service buses, BPM engines, rules engines, component frameworks, XML, and databases.
* (3 years) Designing and developing enterprise applications using Java technologies and Software Design Patterns.
* (3 years) Technical team leadership.
* (3 years) Open Source frameworks and tools: Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, Eclipse, and Maven.
* (2 years) Leading technical team members through disseminating design and evaluating complex software problems
