Job Description

Position Summary:

The Software Architect role functions as a technical lead overseeing the architecture, design, development, and support of the Sharepoint, GCP(Google Cloud Platform) and Docusign systems, as well as other ancillary applications. The Software Architect must be technically-inclined, a great problem-solver, and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Wonderful leader and is extremely reliable. They should also work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Experience in implementing both packaged and custom solutions as well as implementing enhancements/projects by means of analysis, requirements gathering, functional design specification, impact analysis, testing, training and documentation is required.

Job Duties:

* Act as the lead person on software development projects. This includes creating a team of workers suitable for the scope of the project, assigning duties to the staff, creating a timeline for the project, and performing cost analysis and budgeting functions.
* Lead technical design and development, evaluating and troubleshooting functional design and system architecture, component and framework programming, as well as playing a key role in the technical decision process.
* Must be able to evaluate and identify software solutions. Work with stakeholders to discuss what they need their custom software to do or evaluate poor-behaving software and find ways to improve it.
* Produce detailed process maps, system diagrams, logical data models, business requirements, gap analysis, report specifications and other documentation as required for project analysis, planning and design.
* Coach and mentor their development team. Able to encourage their team members to think creatively as well as keep them motivated.
* Implement SharePoint system solutions, including programming backend and frontend components extending the SharePoint environment/system capabilities. Manage and maintain SharePoint system environments.
* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

* 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* 6+ years work experience within the software development process and its technologies.
* 6+ years Sharepoint architecture, design, development and implementation experience. Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCSE/MCSD) (preferred)
* 4+ years experience in managing medium to large projects and programs with concurrent tracks of strategy and/or implementation schedules.
* 4+ years of managing a staff of developers onshore/offshore
* Data modeling and database design experience. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
* Google G-Suite experience is a plus
