Job Summary

Oversees all activities conducted by the Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Center (RMPDC) Applications team. In collaboration with the IT Director, sets direction for the group, including setting priorities and goals for the team and the technology. Shapes overall strategy, vision and reporting on group activities. Initiates development, integration, upgrade and enhancement of applications utilized in the RMPDC environment. Supervisor must focus team activities to maintain a high level of availability on production systems, while anticipating future requirements, trends, and changes to ensure current and future satisfaction of customer service level expectations. Has extensive interface with all RMPDC departments in addition to Denver Health IT (DH IT) Network, Desktop, Database, Security and Server groups in order to ensure timely and quality systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience 1. Bachelor's Degree required. Concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Healthcare related field preferred. 2. Seven (7) years' experience in Information Systems required. Experience in a Healthcare related field preferred. 3. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree and 10 years' experience in Information Systems required. 4. Experience in technology systems support and development at an enterprise system level preferred. 5. Lead or supervisory experience required. 6. Experience with SSRS and SSIS required. 7. Experience with newer technologies like Angular, React, and Javascript required. 8. Experience designing, supporting, and maintaining applications required. 9. Experience working in a Call Center environment preferred. 1. Ability to be hands-on and responsible for the application standards, procedures, processes, and overall quality of each application. 2. Ability to take responsibility for the efforts and career development of Application Analyst assigned. 3. Strong communication skills Computers and Technology 1. Microsoft Office Suite 2. Strong experience with custom development a. Software development lifecycles b. Troubleshooting and debugging code c. Microsoft stack (SQL, .NET, C#, TFS, HTML, CSS) d. Familiarity with agile software development & project management 3. Ability to learn and implement Lean and ITIL Certificates, Licenses and Registration 1. None. Supervisory Responsibilities This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, hiring, terminating, performance management, coaching, supervision, fostering teamwork, training and development of one or more employees.
