Providence is calling a Application Analyst, Senior to Providence Health & Services in one of the following regions: Renton, WA,

A Senior Application Analyst Supply Chain Management demonstrates thorough and detailed knowledge and subject matter expertise that is recognized by other members of the department, business partners, and the user community. A Senior Analyst is competent in supporting several moderately to highly-complex and tightly integrated applications. An Analyst Senior performs with broad independence on moderate to large projects and assignments. A Senior Analyst is thoroughly knowledgeable about the business use of the applications. A Senior Analyst uses a wide assortment of complex principles and concepts for the application area. Senior Analyst plays an active role in complex projects such as software implementations and upgrades. The Senior Analyst role works with functional management, subject matter experts (SMEs), and others to analyze, recommend, and implement solutions to business requirements. The Senior Analyst trains business super users and SMEs.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

* Provide support for appropriate modules in the application area.
* Provide input or training to Analysts, Command Center and Help Desk staff on on-call troubleshooting and monitoring techniques
* Develop requirements for automated monitoring tools.
* Writes documentation that others can follow to effectively analyze diagnostic information to predict future performance and identify issues that may need to be resolved to ensure the system continues to perform well.
* Provide support for upgrades and updates for highly complex applications primarily supported by ProvConnect IT.
* Provide technical and subject matter expertise to project teams involved in the development of implementation and test plans associated with complex application upgrades and implementations. Guides project team to consider impacts on other inter-related systems and process flows.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelor's Degree OR Associate degree, with 7 years of experience in healthcare (preferred), or relevant ERP or business process IT - OR - relevent work experience.
* Advanced Understanding of data structures and use of data in functional area.
* Ability to provide after-hours support to system users on a rotating on-call schedule.
* Availability for business-related travel 10 to 15% of working time to support assigned duties, such as on-site software implementations in the Regions.

Prefered Qualification:

* 5 years' if healthcare-related experience.
* Advanced knowlegde of MS Add-in tools, Query Languages such as SQL , Crystal or TOAD.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access & PowerPoint.
