Responsibilities
In this position, you will primarily be checking the swagger specification compliance for Qualys API Security Solution.
You will be:
* Working with development teams to understand the architecture, functionality of the Swagger API
* Develop and enhance test automation framework for the API testing
* Implement Swagger API that covers the Swagger 2.0 specification
* Implement and execute test cases, execute and review the results
* Present the test results with internal and external development teams
Required Skills:
* 3+ years of industry experience in implementing and testing swagger API
* Strong Java, JSP, JavaScript, PHP programming skills
* Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Perl, and Bash
* Exposure to HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON, SQL, REST, XPATH, XSLT
* Experience with postman scripting
* Knowledge of HTTP protocol (Requests, responses, Cookies etc.)
* System administrator experience on Windows or Unix platforms.
* Exposure to NodeJs, Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, IIS
* Strong experience with Eclipse/Visual Studio and/or Net Beans IDE
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to details
* Passion for web security

* Ability to work independently and self-learner
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Good to have
* Knowledge and understanding of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles, Test Levels, Test types and design techniques.
* Knowledge of Agile Methodology, Functional, and System testing.
* Knowledge of verification and validation process with emphasis on integration and regression testing
* Bug tracking tool experience
* Prior experience of working with a globally distributed team is beneficial
* Database/SQL knowledge
* Experience in developing security related tools/programs.
* Understanding of web application vulnerabilities, OWASP top 10
* Exposure to DAST/BlackBox tools
* Security Policy exposure, i.e. Oauth 2.0, SAML
* Exposure to regular expressions.
