The Role

Software Development and Configuration of Analytical Systems

* Design and implement systems based on Dematic iQ Insights platform (including CMMS, Alerting, and Analytics capabilities)
* Implement software solutions according to Dematic established software standards and procedures
* Translate customer requirements to technical design documentation
* Assist sales software analysts during new offers to customers across Europe
* Collaborate with global analytics team to ensure consistent delivery globally
* Train customers and key-users on installed solutions
* Estimate time to complete of new and existing development tasks
* Maintain a good relationships with all internal and external customers, through provision of a high quality service
* Deliver projects and tasks on time and within budget
* Work within an Agile environment with remote team members in North America
* Lead a value engineering approach to ensure cost efficient solutions are designed that achieve company goals for profit, service and support

Willingness to travel; 20% is a necessity

What We Are Looking For

* Good knowledge of SSIS and SQL
* Knowledge of Python, R, SAS, SPSS Modeler or similar highly preferred
* Basic OS, Network and server knowledgeDesired Technical Competencies
* Enterprise Business Intelligence and/or data warehousing experience
* IoT experience
* Microsoft SQL Server
* Cloud deployment
* Software and hardware setup
* Version Control: GIT / Subversion
* SW Methodologies: Agile / Scrum
* C#, Java or similar
