Dire Wolf Digital is looking for a full-time, Analytics Engineer who will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining a big data analytics stack.

This position is located at our Denver studio. Must be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

* Build and maintain a serverless reusable data processing pipeline
* Write and optimize big data analytics queries
* Design web based reports in a Linux environment using Scala
* Create scripted ad hoc reports

Desired Skills & Experience Qualifications

* Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
* Experience developing highly scalable server applications with Java, Linux, and SQL
* Reporting in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
* Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
* Ability to learn new skills and languages quickly
* A passion for games and data

Pluses

* Game industry experience
* Knowledge of Python, Bootstrap, and/or Scala
* Experience with PostgreSQL, Redshift, and/or Aws Lambda
* Functional programming experience
