BA/BS Degree in Administrative Professional or Business Administration OR Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in Business Administration or Administrative Assistance Previously completed training in Business or Administrative functions.
Experience required with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copying Machine, Multiple Phone Lines Duties:
Provide professional and technical support to the Office of Small and Disadvantage Business Utilization (OSDBU) in general, with emphasis on the duties and functions in support of the Small Business Contracting Team. Assist the POST Team, and other OSDBU functional areas in multifunction/multi-disciplinary tasks. Deals with the regulated business community. State, Federal and Local officials.
Assist in writing and preparing publications 10% Prepare correspondence, memorandum and communications 10% Prepare travel authorization/vouchers for staff 5% Input data into systems 5% Provide professional and technical assistance on special projected-based tasks 25% Process subcontracting review request 15% Assist in outreach/training activities and compiling training material for all OSDBU functional areas 20% Provide support to the Deputy Director as needed 10%
Other: May be required to complete mandatory EPA training for agency employees, contractors and enrollees. One example is EPA's annual mandatory Information Security training Training on EPA's Small Business Programs, including free online training Overnight travel: Optional travel may be requested once per year at most, for no more than 3 nights. Air travel anticipated: Once per year, for three nights
