Position Summary:

The person in this position will be working in Mergers and Acquisitions group with high exposure to the project management team. IT Security plays a crucial role in Northwell Health's M&A activities. Each acquisition brings its own set of challenges and so the person has to be able to adjust rapidly to each engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Practical design, implementation and/or management of diverse set technologies. Must be comfortable with concepts of Intrusion prevention, log monitoring and event correlation, vulnerability management and risk management principles.

2. Knowledge of HIPPA, PCI and HITRUST is highly valuable. General knowledge COBIT, ISO27001 and NIST is desirable.

3. Willing to travel within areas of Northwell Health operations, including but not limited to all five boroughs, Long Island as well as Westchester and other areas in the northern region.

4. Must demonstrate progression in their career

5. Someone who is collaborative, possesses attention to detail, ability to understand problem instead coming up with quick solutions.

Qualifications

To qualify, you will need a bachelor's degree in computer science, along with at least two years of related technical experience. Successful candidates will also be familiar with security resource audits, firewall operations management (CISCO/CheckPoint), IDS/SNORT, and vulnerability scanning tools such as Security Expressions or NESSUS.
