Job Description

Description:Seeking an engineering professional looking for an opportunity in a challenging, fast paced, high visibility environment requiring balance between engineering skills, technical awareness, and strategic thinking to ensure successful execution of the largest defense program in history.

This exciting position is a technical lead position on the Design and Verification Systems Engineering team for the F-35 Program. Specific tasks will include the following:

* Defining system level requirements, analyzing, decomposing and allocating system requirements to all areas of the Air System, including Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems, Weapons, ALIS, Training, and Support Equipment
* Defining system level verification activities through the development of verification requirements and pass criteria to ensure the Air System requirements are being verified through the assessment of program analysis, test and demonstration activities across all areas of the Air System.
* Responsible for daily tasking and mentoring of junior verification engineering staff assigned to area of responsibility.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with the Systems Engineering requirements and or verification.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technical Discipline

Desired Skills:

* Technical Lead Experience with strong task coordination and communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Formal or informal mentoring experience
* DOORS Experience
* Experience in systems engineering disciplines with understanding of the total lifecycle (architecture, requirements, design, analysis, integration, verification)
* Technical experience in Mission Systems, Weapons or Logistics and Sustainment activities on the F-35 or other industry programs
* Knowledge of overall F-35 air system, design, and processes.
* Experience with written, verbal, and presentation communications skills, including briefing to stakeholders outside of current team.
* Experience using Microsoft Office tools emphasizing Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Engineering experience in the aerospace industry
* Current F-35 SAP Clearances
