Position: Agile Coach/Scrum Master

We're looking for an Agile Coach/Scrum Master to be the next member of our awesome team. You will be an integral member of the engineering team responsible for planning and delivering the next generation heterogeneous directory software. We're seeking a project leader who wants to truly own Program Management and define what it means for JumpCloud.

What you'll be doing:

As an Agile Coach/Scrum Master this is a unique opportunity to bring your honed expertise to help us improve our SDLC, to empower us to build features, and to deliver value to our customers within an Agile framework. You will be both a Scrum Master and coach for multiple agile teams, as well as an Agile leader, as JumpCloud continues to improve its Agile practices.

As a Scrum Master you will execute the tactical day to day Agile ceremonies, helping to identify and remove impediments to progress. You are an Agile coach who coaches the teams in the methodology, ensuring they are armed with the right knowledge, tools and training to use agile to its full potential. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Product Manager to ensure that the team has everything they need to deliver on their commitments.

As a proven Agile leader, you are skilled at influencing and advocating for process change and improvements, working closely with employees across the entire company, including leadership, to ensure employee and stakeholder buy-in. You take a pragmatic approach to improving the engineering agile practices, introducing techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility leading to increased software delivery capability.

You will integrate related methodologies within the company and develop standards and requirements for agile and other engineering processes. You will generate dashboards and other information radiators to ensure good communication within engineering and to the rest of the organization. You will help to establish and track metrics to be used to help the engineering organization inspect and adapt to continuously improve throughout the software delivery cycle.

Skills and attributes we'd like you to have:

* 5+ years experience in managing highly‐complex, technically‐challenging projects (defining, driving, and delivering features). A commercial SaaS product would be ideal.
* Strong experience using Agile/Scrum/Kanban to deliver product software and being directly involved with agile teams to support improvements to planning, grooming, estimation, tracking, and delivery.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Collaborative and consensus driven, able to drive change and improvements using these skills.
* Skilled at facilitating constructive discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
* Experience with project management tools, like Jira. Jira admin experience a plus.
* Driven to be proactive, you have the ability to manage risk and escalations with ease while anticipating issues in order to balance the business needs and technical constraints.
* A successful track record of working with engineers, from DevOps to QA, to improve the processes and practices of developing software and release a great product.
* Understanding of how to establish metrics and measurements driving toward predictive delivery, planning, estimation, with great stories of constantly improving a project practice.
* BS/MS with a focus in CS, IS, or experience in a related technical or professional field is preferred.
