Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks a Advisory Manager in Arlington, VA.

Work You'll Do

Play lead role in engagement planning, economics, and billing and participate in proposal development efforts; demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends and competitor activities and assist in retention of professionals; identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement; assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects; use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services; construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls; identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability; understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches; utilize knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements; develop information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards; build and nurture strong client relationships; generate innovative ideas and participate in decision making with engagement management.

Requirements

* Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).


* Five years of experience designing and implementing enterprise risk frameworks.


* Experience must include five years of:
* Leading enterprise-wide risk, information security and data encryption framework implementation through the full life cycle of an engagement, including staffing, budgeting, and closing out projects;


* Assessing IT general controls including the preparation of risk and control matrices, design, development, benchmarking, rationalization and testing of controls;


* Assessing client's current Inherent Risk Profile and conducting cyber security maturity assessment to develop a roadmap prioritized to strategic enhancements;


* Assisting clients in assessing their cyber risk capability maturity across various domains;


* Managing, planning, and subsequent tracking of projects using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall SDLC;


* Implementing Cobit, NIST, and ISO standards in operational risk assessment; and


* Liaising with clients at the C-Suite level to discuss engagements.




* Experience must include three years of:
* Implementing multi-compliance framework capability to centralize and enable multi-regulatory compliance across enterprises, including SOX, HIPAA, ISO27001, BS25999, COBIT, SSAE 16, PCI DSS, Sec 501, Sec 525, BASEL, FHFA, NY DFS, and FCPA and


* Assessing implications of technology risks on overall business strategy and developing, implementing, and architecting information systems.




* Position requires 80% travel.
