Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Implementing and maintaining actuarial algorithms in C#
* Enhancing, maintaining and supporting existing actuarial applications written in C#
* Interacting with an analytical oriented user group for requirements gathering
* Interact with IT professionals that support you in your analytical tool development
* Contributing to the integration of these applications into the next generation pricing platform
* Provide training and user support
* Support the development team (based in Zurich) in application end-to-end testing

Required Education / Training and Experience

* At least three to five years relevant business experience in an international (re) insurance company or in broking business
* A natural science or mathematical background
* Prior experience in actuarial tool development and maintenance
* High proficiency in a .NET language, C# preferred. Sound SQL knowledge. Experience in working in an agile development team is a plus.
