We are currently seeking an Accounting Systems Analyst for an exciting opportunity in the Newport Beach area for a 3-6 month contract. Work with Vaco to get the advantage over your competition. As a Systems Analyst, you will work closely with department managers in finance and accounting. You will provide systems application support, develop reports, provide training and data analysis utilizing SQL queries, and write and maintain SQL scripts. You will be responsible for managing the testing of new releases, analyzing user requirements, system modifications, change management, providing technical application expertise, supporting our end users, and providing training.

Other responsibilities of the Systems Administrator role include:

* Investigating user application issues
* Help finalize Sage reporting: reports are based in Excel. Heavy Excel experience required
* Identifying problem sources
* Determining and implementing possible solutions
* Writing SQL queries for data extraction as well as analysis and data imports
* Help create and finalize various import templates: simplify and streamline processes.
* Improve the billing database: update the Access database to track billing on a more detailed level and to lock changes once a provider has been paid.
* Assist with general process improvements: participate in various tasks that need improvement and identify the ways to improve those tasks.
* CRM Fixes: ASP or basic coding knowledge to help update our Sage CRM system

Requirements:

* ASP or basic coding experience
* Bachelor's Degree
* Lawson or Sage software experience
* Advanced Microsoft Access and Excel knowledge
