JOB DESCRIPTION

The Defense Group of Leidos has an opening for an ACAS Systems Administrator to work

at the Pentagon, National Capital Region.

JOB SUMMARY

ACAS Systems Administrator in support of the AFNCR IT Services program at the National Military Command Center (NMCC). The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide implementation, engineering, and administration support to ACAS / Assured Compliance Assessment Solution for the USAF.
* Assist with deploying and configuring the ACAS solution - Provide overall architecture guidance.
* Provide operational testing and evaluation support for the ACAS components and future releases.
* Troubleshoot ACAS issues/CMRS publishing - Work with and mentor implementation teams on all technical aspects of the ACAS solution.
* Collaborate with the DISA engineers, implementation teams, and HPES management team.
* Work closely with the ACAS Lab to resolve any technical issues - Provide Tier III support to the ACAS implementation.
* Utilize vulnerability scanning tools to include Vulnerability Management System (VMS) and Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS).
* Work with security architectures.
* Provide Windows and UNIX operating system administration.
* Ability to provide network design, LAN/WAN systems and lab configuration to include the following capabilities: Installing, operating and maintaining routers, switches, domain controllers, member servers and clients.
* Ability to replicate client environment issues Understanding networking support to include TCP/IP, DNS, and SMTP issues.
* Provide technical support to customers involving a wide range of software, hardware, and DoD specific applications with respect to the ACAS solution
* Ability to analyze the customer's needs and identify security requirements / solutions.
* Position requires strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to work independently.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of related experience, training, and/or certifications accepted in lieu of a degree.
* Currently possess DOD 8570, IAT Level II Security+ ce certification or equivalent.
* Currently possess a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience with ACAS / Assured Compliance Assessment Solution Systems Administration.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* BS Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security or like field
* Experience with IA / Information Architecture.
* Experience with DoD STIGS, IA Tools (SCCVI, SCRI, Host Based Security System) and the DIACAP program.
* Experience with service/help Remedy.
