The primary purpose of this role is to deliver a high quality and high performing system to meet customers' business needs based on Allscripts product set.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

* Work in a customer facing role to develop integration plans with customers, partners and third party system vendors
* Lead the development, testing, and deployment of data interfaces and integration components
* Provide technical support during the implementation delivery process including triaging and troubleshooting issues reported by customer and implementation team
* Provide technical assistance to other departments in relation to integration development and customer implementations
* Develop testing and validation plans with external teams to ensure a successful implementation and that customer/partner requirements are met.
* Develop technical documentation to facilitate efficiency, document customer implementations, and support department education objectives.
* Acts as liaison to other 2bPrecise departments concerning client issues and status
* Work as a translator between various clinical and technical specialties
* Monitor customer satisfaction and strive to improve it
* Identify potential obstacles and drive to resolve issues which could impact project completion

Qualification:

* BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
* Experienced in the design, development and testing of Java applications in an Agile development environment
* Experience with Java messaging systems and distributed real-time computing/processing engines
* Experience working with and administering cloud software platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
* Working knowledge of XML, XSLT and JSON
* Experience with the conversion, translation and validation of external data
* Experience working with NoSQL/document databases (MongoDB)
* Familiarity working in a Unix environment and administering Unix systems
* Working knowledge of common healthcare data interface formats: HL7, CDA and standard clinical terminologies and code systems: SNOMED, LOINC, ICD9/10
* Familiar with precision medicine, genetic testing, genomic interpretation, and clinical trials preferred

Qualifications

Academic and professional qualifications:

* Bachelors/Masters Degree in relevant technical field, (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, or related technical discipline), or equivalent combination of training and work experience.

Experience:

* 4 or more years in related responsibilities depending on education level.

Technical Qualification:

* Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, Java, etc. required
* Experience with SOAP and RESTful web services
* Knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) technologies such as IHE Standards, XDR, PDQ (EMPI / Master Patient Index), XDS.b, Nw-HIN, FHIR, DIRECT Project, or HISP integration preferred.
* Familiar with HL7, CCD / CCDA documents, and/or clinical terminology standards such as (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, etc)
* Experience developing and supporting web based applications using C#, VB .NET, SQL, IIS, Java, or other technologies preferred.

Travel requirements:

* Minimal, US based

Working arrangements:

* May be required to work overtime or split shift during peak demand periods.
* Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
