Job Description

Job Title: Engineer - Software Engineering Apps

Job Location: 12061 Bluemont Way, Reston, VA 20190

Job Duties: Analyze, design, build, test and document extensions, customizations, personalization's and integration to Oracle ERP Applications version R12. Support production with on-going preventive maintenance, enhancements and bug fixes. Standardize processes. Assist MIS business analysts in solution design requiring customization of Oracle EBS application suite and effectively communicate with MIS business analysts and business users on related issues and deliverables. Translate functional specifications into technical design/specifications for development of WRICEP objects. Troubleshoot Oracle Applications R12 issues related to customizations and/or software bugs and work with software vendors for support/resolution. Monitor system performance and recommend strategies, best practices, system & / or process work arounds for preventative maintenance or measures. Identify issues and recommend appropriate action/ resolution. Provide guidance to other team members, facilitate processes, and provide help/support with technical skills. Analyze Oracle patches, upgrades, RUPs, RPCs for impact on seeded and custom functionality and formulate corrective measures.
