Job Title: Engineer - Software Engineering

Job Location: 12061 Bluemont Way, Reston, VA 20190

Job Duties: Develop features and infrastructure for Recursive Domain Name System ("DNS") Resolution and DNS Firewall products, including web portal, API's, and DB to provide customers access to account information, service status and DNS activity reporting. Develop features and infrastructure for Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana ("ELK") stack, including technical requirements, to most effectively store and analyze customer DNS activity. Control DNS Recursion with peak performance while implementing customer specific policies. Deploy the DNS Firewall product in a continuous delivery model ensuring application security is accounted for in the initial development cycle. Troubleshoot issues found in production related to front-end and back-end technologies, as well as specific customer presented use-cases. Manage work through the agile development methodology. Participate in sprint planning sessions to develop user stories and define acceptance criteria. Participate in daily scrums to ensure work is progressing and is not blocked by any circumstance. Participate in sprint demos to show work to peers and customers.
