We Also Walk Dogs builds software to help our clients -- major progressive groups and not-for-profits like MoveOn.org, Sum of Us, ONE.org and others -- activate their tens of millions of online supporters.

Our product, ActionKit, is used by our clients to fight climate change, push back against corporate power and more.

We are group of passionate software engineers who care about the future and want to build software that helps our clients fight and win battles to make our world a better place.

How We Work

We are a distributed team, where everyone works remotely. Work from wherever you want with high speed internet as long as you have some overlap with the US business hours. Our staff work all across the United States. One of our engineers is, literally, an American in Paris.

Because we are fully distributed, there's no on-site/off-site dichotomy. We use Slack, email and the occasional phone call to keep everyone in sync. And then we get together once or twice a year in person to help build relationships and hack on cool projects.

Our Hiring Process

We start with a quick phone call to chat about the role, learn more about you and your interests and decide if there's a possible fit for both of us.

After that, we'll do a technical interview via phone or video chat.

Finally, you'll talk with multiple team members to get a better sense of how we work together and where you might fit in!
